Master of Science in Educational Development and Strategies
The Master of Science in Educational Development and Strategies offered by Wilkes University is designed to meet the needs of practicing teachers by combining effective practices with theory and research. Students will grow their knowledge base as well as gain practical skills and techniques that are directly applicable to their classroom. Twelve PLS credits are a required part of this 30-credit program. This non-thesis program can be completed in less than two years.

Wilkes University’s Master of Science Degree in Online Teaching is a 30-credit fully online program designed to develop your skills and knowledge in instructional design, effective assessment practices for online environments, building collaborative learning communities, and much more.
Courses and programs in all subject areas and career fields are becoming available online. This program will provide best practices for:
- designing online instruction,
- teaching previously developed courses,
- designing and implementing meaningful assessments for the online classroom,
- incorporating the latest in technology tools appropriate for online learning, and
- integrating primary resources in the online environment.
The program equips the participant with skills to perform these functions for their current or future employers. Students who complete the degree will be qualified to design, develop, and instruct online courses for a wide variety of educational settings including K-12, higher education, and business and industry training programs.
